The job of airport chaplain is in high demand.

The approximately 350 jobs are highly sought after among the clergy. Big airports are turning into their own mini-cities, with shopping malls, fire departments, movie theaters... and chapels.

The position of airport chaplain is considered glamorous, with chaplains saying they love the excitement and unpredictability of airports.

They see troops off to war and they're on hand when bodies of the fallen come home. They comfort people visiting sick relatives and those traveling for medical treatment.

But these airport ministers say one of the big drawbacks is no permanent congregations.
