Another Woman Accuses Director Roman Polanski

Roman Polanski Trial In Krakow

A woman said Tuesday she was sexually victimized by fugitive film director Roman Polanski in 1973 -- when she was 16 years old.

“I’m not over it,” said the woman, who identified herself by the first name, “Robin,” during a news conference at the Los Angeles office of attorney Gloria Allred.

Robin said the day after it happened she told a friend but was afraid to tell her parents, and decided to speak publicly now because another woman assaulted by Polanski as a child - has asked for that criminal case to be closed.

The other woman, Samantha Geimer, recently appeared in a courtroom in Los Angeles and told a judge she no longer wished for Polanski to face additional prison time for assaulting her when she was 13-years-old in 1977.

“This infuriated me,” Robin said.

“Over the years I’ve been satisfied that this child molester Roman Polanski is publicly known for sexually victimizing a 13-year-old girl,” she said.

“I’m speaking out now so that Samantha and the world will know that she is not the only minor that Roman Polanski victimized,” she said.

Allred said Robin has no plans to file a lawsuit and has already met with law enforcement to provide details on the alleged assault, which Allred would only say occurred somewhere in Southern California.

Polanski fled to Europe before the Geimer case was resolved and could face additional prison time if he returned to the United States.

Polanski has made repeated, unsuccessful, attempts to be sentenced in absentia, get prison credit for time he was detained on the fugitive warrant overseas, or have the case closed entirely.

The most recent request is still pending before L.A. Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon.
