New Health Survey of People Living Near Porter Ranch Gas Leak Released

A new study of the effects of the SoCal gas leak in 2015 have been released. Dr. Jeffrey Nordella told KFI's Andrew Mollenbeck that people living near Porter Ranch have been kept in the dark about the health risks. 

"If we had disclosed it, we might be in a very different position right now. If it had come out, that this was more serious than they thought." 

The independent study took urine and hair samples of people near the SoCal gas leak. Nordella says he saw more than 100 patients. 

"There's a statistically significant difference between the people in Porter Ranch, and even compared to Los Angeles." 

The gas leak in 2015 was the largest in U.S. history.
