Hollywood Gets It Right With Show Mocking Extreme Feminism

INJOEvery once in a while, Hollywood surprises the conservative half of the country with a refreshing dose of self-awareness. That was certainly the case with last week's premiere of The CW's “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.”

In Friday's episode, the female cast — Rachel Bloom, Donna Lynne Champlin, Vella Lovell, and Gabrielle Ruiz — launched into an '80s-inspired song titled “Let's Generalize About Men.”

The scene began with each of the characters complaining about how awful men are. From there, they poured their wine and began singing in a retro music video reminiscent of the Pointer Sisters.

The song poked fun at the fact that so much of Hollywood — and, frankly, the left — makes sweeping statements about all men in a warped version of feminism that seems to be less about female empowerment and more about male degradation.

Here's the chorus:

Let's generalize about men! Let's generalize about men.

Let's take one bad thing about one man, and apply it to all of them.

Let's conflate the guys, let's generalize about men!
