Garcetti Leaving Town For Olympic, Political Speeches

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti will leave the Southland for the third time in three weeks today, bound for Colorado Springs, Colorado, to start visits to three states in four days.

Garcetti will deliver the keynote address at the 2018 U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Assembly Awards Dinner in Colorado Springs tonight.

Garcetti is scheduled to be in Charleston, South Carolina on Sunday to give the keynote address for the Charleston County Democratic Party's annual Blue Jamboree, and attend church services and an event in support of Joe Cunningham, who is running for Congress in South Carolina's 1st District.

Garcetti is set to be in Las Vegas Monday to speak at the United Brotherhood of Carpenters International Training Center, and the Culinary Union Local 226 get-out-the-vote rally in support U.S. Senate candidate Jacky Rosen, gubernatorial candidate Steve Sisolak and congressional candidates Susie Lee and Steven Horsford.

Garcetti also plans to attend a separate events in support of Horsford and Rosen.

Garcetti was in San Francisco last week, speaking at the Global Climate Action Summit and Cities4Climate: The Future is Us conference. He was in Ohio two weeks ago for a series of political events.
