Delta Airlines Flight from OC to Seattle Diverted to Due To Turbulence

SANTA ANA (CNS) - Several passengers on a Delta Airlines flight bound for Seattle from John Wayne Airport were injured due to turbulence, and the plane was diverted to Reno, Nevada, authorities said.

Flight 5763 made an emergency landing about 1 p.m. Wednesday, and three of the passengers were transported for hospital treatment in unknown condition, according to a Fox11 report from Reno.

Video posted by a passenger shows drink and food items from a cart scattered throughout the aisle of the plane.

Passenger Joe Justice tweeted: ``Crazy turbulence and injuries, but the (Delta) crew ``handled it perfectly, even the emergency landing.''

Two other people reportedly were injured but were not taken to a hospital.
