Chargers To Play Two `Sunday Night Football' Games at Home

COSTA MESA (CNS) - The Los Angeles Chargers will open their 2019 regular season by playing host to the Indianapolis Colts Sept. 8 and play two “Sunday Night Football” games at Dignity Health Sports Park, the NFL announced today.

The Chargers will play host to the Pittsburgh Steelers Oct. 13 and Minnesota Vikings Dec. 15 in “Sunday Night Football” games.

The rest of the Chargers seven-game schedule at Dignity Health Sports Park consists of games against the Houston Texans (Sept. 22), Denver Broncos (Oct. 6), Green Bay Packers (Nov. 3) and Oakland Raiders (Dec. 21 or Dec. 22).

The Chargers will play the Kansas City Chiefs at Mexico City's Estadio Azteca Nov. 18 in an ESPN “Monday Night Football” game that will be considered a Chargers home game.

The Chargers eight-game road schedule includes one prime-time game, Nov. 7 against Oakland, airing on Fox's “Thursday Night Football.”

The Chargers will also play road games against the Detroit Lions (Sept. 15), Miami Dolphins (Sept. 29), Tennessee Titans (Oct. 20), Chicago Bears (Oct. 27), Denver (Dec. 1), Jacksonville Jaguars (Dec. 8) and Kansas City (Dec. 29).

The NFL also announced the dates and start times of the Chargers remaining home preseason game and both road preseason games. The Chargers will begin the preseason by playing at Arizona Aug. 8 and conclude the preseason Aug. 29 by playing at San Francisco.

The Chargers will play host to the Seattle Seahawks Aug. 24. As previously announced, the Chargers will play host to New Orleans Aug. 18.
