Opening Night - Ariana Grande Sweetener World Tour

Ariana Grande revealed sheā€™s been feeling under the weather on her ā€œSweetener World Tour.ā€

The pop star took to her Instagram Stories on Saturday night (November 16) to let fans know sheā€™s been feeling sick for weeks and fears she may have to cancel an upcoming concert. The illness, whatever it may be, has caused the 26-year-old a lot of pain and made it difficult for her to breathe during Friday's (November 15) concert in North Carolina.

ā€œHi my loves so Iā€™m still very sick. Iā€™ve been sick since the last London show. I donā€™t know how itā€™s possible but my throat and head are still in so much pain. I sound okay Iā€™m just in a lot of pain and itā€™s difficult to breathe during the show,ā€ the ā€œ7 Ringsā€ singer wrote in a lengthy message.

ā€œI am seeing my doctor and trying my v best to get better for tomorrowā€™s show. the last thing i would ever want to do is cancel a show at this point with so few left. iā€™m truly cherishing every moment of thisā€¦ i just really donā€™t know whatā€™s happening with my body right now and need to figure it out,ā€ she added. ā€œPlease take this as a gentle heads upā€¦ i donā€™t want anyone to feel blindsided tomorrow if god forbid i canā€™t make the show happen.ā€

ā€œIā€™m on all the meds. getting IV drips, doing everything i possibly can to pull through. mom and friends are taking good care of me. just a scary feeling. love you with all my heart and will keep you posted," she concluded.

The musician recently said she had been coughing and enduring a sinus infection, and that the latter was still affecting her health.

Taking to her Stories following her doctor's visit, the ā€œBreak Up With Your Girlfriend, Iā€™m Boredā€ star could be seen being comforted by friends and family before delivering this update: ā€œStill canā€™t swallow or lift my head. love u. medicated af and hoping to wake up better. seeing doc again in am and will let you know about show. iā€™m so sorry again. itā€™s catching up to me i guess. love u the most.ā€

Per her website, Grande is scheduled to perform her November 17 show in Kentucky.

Feel better, Ari!
