Little Change to Average L.A. County Gas Price

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped one-tenth of a cent today to $3.22 one day after decreasing two-tenths of a cent.

The average price is seven-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and 45.2 cents lower than one year ago but 1.8 cents more than one month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has decreased 39.5 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price dropped seven-tenths of a cent to $3.188, the fourth consecutive decrease, including three-tenths of a cent on Tuesday. It is 1.4 cents less than one week ago and 44.8 cents lower than one year ago but two-tenths of a cent more than one month ago.

The Orange County average price has decreased 35.7 cents since the start of the year.
