Little Change to Average L.A. County Gas Price

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose one-tenth of a cent today to $3.191, its highest amount since Oct. 18.

The average price has risen nine consecutive days, increasing 4.4 cents, including four-tenths of a cent on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 3.7 cents more than one week ago and 4.9 cents higher than a month ago but 44.7 cents less than one year ago.

The average price in Orange County rose four-tenths of a cent to $3.179, its seventh increase in eight days. It is 4.6 cents more than one week ago and 6.8 cents higher than a month ago but 37.5 cents less than one year ago.
