Couple Robbed at Gunpoint in Pasadena; Two Suspects Sought

PASADENA (CNS) - Authorities sought public help today to find two suspects who robbed a Pasadena couple at gunpoint.

The crime occurred at about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday as the man and woman were walking in the 2100 block of East Del Mar Boulevard, Pasadena Police Lt. Sean Dawkins told City News Service.

A man armed with a handgun and accompanied by a woman approached the pair and demanded their property, Dawkins said. The suspects then fled on foot with the victims' cell phones, the man's wallet and the woman's handbag.

The male suspect was described as being in his 20s, about 5-feet-7 inches tall, with a thin build and short black hair. The female suspect was described as being in her 20s, heavyset and about 5-feet-8 inches tall, with black hair.
