LAPD Motorcycle Officer Injured in Crash on 210 Freeway in Glendora Area

GLENDORA (CNS) - A Los Angeles Police Department motorcycle officer was injured today in a collision involving two trucks on the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway in the Glendora area.

The crash was reported about 5:20 a.m. east of Barranca Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reported. The officer was taken to a hospital for treatment of a possible broken leg, according to the LAPD.

According to the CHP, the officer was riding a 2015 LAPD-issued BMW motorcycle on his way to work when the crash occurred. The two truck drivers, who remained at the scene, were uninjured, and neither was arrested, the CHP reported.

The HOV and No. 1 lanes of the westbound 210 Freeway were closed for about an hour while an investigation was conducted into the circumstances of the crash.
