POMONA (CNS) - A man who was fatally shot in Pomona was identified today.
Officers were sent to Arboleda Way and East Holt Avenue about 1 a.m. Tuesday on a report of a shooting found the man suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the Pomona Police Department.
Joshua Ellis, 30, of Hawthorne died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.
No arrests were reported. The motive for the shooting was not known, police said. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call police at 909-622-1241, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
