ORANGE (CNS) - A 40-year-old Theo Lacy Jail inmate has died, authorities said Tuesday, but the cause of death is still unknown.
Eric Garcia, who was booked by Garden Grove police into the jail in Orange on June 25 on suspicion of vandalism, was taken to a hospital June 29, Orange County sheriff's officials said.
Garcia was pronounced dead Sunday at the hospital, officials said.
A cause of death may not be known for several weeks, following toxicology tests and an independent autopsy.
