Officials ID Bicyclist Killed in Attack in Downtown LA; Suspect Sought

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Authorities Wednesday identified a man who was killed by another man while riding a bicycle in downtown Los Angeles, as investigators continued their efforts to solve the crime.

The attack occurred at about 12:10 a.m. Tuesday at Seventh and Flower streets, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

Oscar Gaytan, 28, of Duarte, died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

According to police, Gaytan was riding a bicycle when another man pulled him off of it, and he fell and hit his head. No description was released of the suspect.
