Rain Could Bring Welcome Relief To North Bay Fire Zone

Rarely have North Bay residents been so happy about a chance of rain.  Forecasters put the odds of light to moderate rain as high as 85-percent tomorrow night.  They're only predicting total accumulation between about one-tenth to a third-of-an-inch, but it will still help put out the wildfires and clear the smoky air.

Forecasters think most of the rain will fall over a few hours from late evening to very early Friday morning, but the North Bay could see a few sprinkles starting as early as 4 p.m.
