Tax Filing Date Extended For So Cal Winter Disaster Victims

For most Americans, the normal April 15th deadline to file federal income tax returns will fall on Tuesday, due to tomorrow's holiday in Washington, DC.  But, survivors of this past winter's Southern California wildfires and mudslides will have even more time.

The Internal Revenue Service says affected residents and business owners in Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles and San Diego counties have until April 30th to file their taxes.  Folks with questions can call the IRS disaster hotline at 866-562-5227.
