LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped two-tenths of a cent today to $3.594, the 18th consecutive decrease.
The average price is 3.2 cents less than one week ago, 16 cents lower than one month ago and 2.2 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The Orange County average price dropped four-tenths of a cent to $3.569, the 19th decrease in the last 20 days. It is 3.3 cents less than one week ago and 14.2 cents lower than one month ago, but 2.4 cents more than one year ago.
