New York City Teen Arrested For Killing Man In $1 Robbery

Police in New York City arrested one person in connection with brutal robbery and assault on Christmas Eve that left a 60-year-old man dead. Surveillance video captured a group of six men attacking Juan Fresnada and his younger boyfriend after they refused to hand over their wallets. The attack lasted roughly 15 minutes, with one of the assailants hitting him with a metal trash can.

The suspects fled with just one dollar, and Fresnada was rushed to the hospital, where he died three days later.

Police managed to identify and locate 18-year-old Abu Conteh and charged him with murder and gang assault. He was taken into custody at his home and is being held without bond until his court hearing.

Authorities believe they have identified the other attackers and are working to locate them.
