Spread Love and Send a World War II Veteran A Valentine Card

A World War 2 veteran who lives in Stockton wants a little love this Valentine's Day. Major Bill White, who's 104 years old, is asking people to send him cards for the Hallmark holiday Feb. 14.

"I'll save every one of them like I've been saving little things that have come up until right now, and they'll be a personal part of my history," the veteran told ABC7.

White is a Marine veteran who survived the Battle of Iwo Jima. He spent 30 years on active duty, receiving several medals for his service, including the Purple Heart.
