Kate Middleton Says Prince Louis Makes Prince George 'A Little Grumpy'

Kate Middleton has resumed her official royal duties after three months of COVID-19 shutdown in England. After visiting a local garden center for her first official outing post shutdown, the Duchess of Cambridge helped plant a new garden at The Nook, one of the East Anglia's Children's Hospice facilities near her country home in Norfolk.

While planting the garden, Kate shared that she's been gardening at home with her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. According to Kate, her kids have turned gardening into a bit of a competition to see whose flowers will grow the fastest. "The children are really enjoying growing their sunflowers," she said. "Louis' is winning, so George is a little grumpy about that!"

Kate often speaks about how much she and her children enjoy spending time together outside. Back in 2019, she told families visiting her "Back to Nature" designed for the Chelsea Flower Show that Louis, in particular, "loves being outside" and "loves smelling flowers."

During her recent visit to the garden center, Kate said her kids love visiting outdoor shops like and picking out what they'll grown in their garden. "They love it," Kate said. "It's such a great space for children and families to come to garden centers. I've been food shopping but I have to say I haven't been out a huge amount, but it's good and so important, now as things start to ease, people know they can go out and particularly to places like this."
