Before finding love with Harry Styles on the set of their upcoming film Don't Worry Darling, Olivia Wilde was engaged to Jason Sudeikis. The former couple also shares two children together—6-year-old son Otis and 4-year-old daughter Daisy.
While Sudeikis has remained mum on both his split from Wilde and her burgeoning relationship with Styles, a source close to the Saturday Night Live star has told Us Weekly that Sudeikis is heartbroken that Wilde has moved on. “Jason’s had no option but to step back and let Olivia do her thing, but he [has his fingers crossed] that this is just a phase and that Olivia will snap out of it or that Harry will get bored and move on before too long,” the source dished. Sudeikis is reportedly "desperate" to win his ex-fiance back so that they can “repair their family.”
Initial reports on Wilde and Sudeikis' split claimed the pair broke up in early 2020, however, sources close to Sudeikis dispute that timeline. One insider told Us Weekly that Wilde and Sudeikis only called it quits “after she had already gotten close to Harry” on the Don’t Worry Darling set. “Whether Harry knows it or not, he was a reason for the split,” the source added.
It's unlikely that any of the love triangle participants will comment publicly on the matter. One anonymous source close to Styles, however, has denied that the 'Watermelon Sugar' singer had anything to do with Wilde's split from Sudeikis. The Styles source says he "did not break up an engagement."
