LA Animal Services: Animal Adopters Needed as Centers Reach Full Capacity

Los Angeles Animal Services is urging the adoption of animals as their centers reach full capacity.

To help clear the shelters, fees are being reduced across the city’s six locations.

According to shelter officials, "Our Centers are filled with amazing dogs, cats, and kittens who are already spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and ready to be a part of your family."

Los Angeles Animal Service will be offering discounts on various weekends from April 30 through May 8.

The shelters are open without appointments on weekends; however, an appointment is needed to visit on weekdays.

To visit the shelters, proof of vaccination is required or proof of a negative COVID-19 test within the previous 72 hours.
