Santita Jackson is an accomplished American singer, political commentator, veteran radio personality and producer. The eldest daughter of civil rights leader Reverend Jesse Jackson and Jacqueline Jackson, Santita was born in Greensboro, North Carolina, and was raised in Chicago. Santita pursued higher education at Howard University on a full merit scholarship, where she became a member of Delta Sigma Theta sorority. After college, she worked as an aide to Congressman Gus Savage before launching a music career. She toured for more than five years as a backup singer for Roberta Flack, performed with Opera Ebony, and sang the National Anthem at President Bill Clinton’s second inauguration in 1997. In media, Santita has made her mark as a political commentator on Fox News and as a host and executive producer of several shows, including The Santita Jackson Show on WVON 1690 AM in Chicago, The Morning Drive with Santita Jackson on Minnesota’s AM 950, and the nationally-syndicated Keep Hope Alive with Rev. Jesse Jackson radio program. She took over hosting duties for Keep Hope Alive after her father’s passing in February 2026.
