36 People Reported Missing From Eaton, Palisades Fires

At least 36 people have been reported missing from both the Eaton and Palisades fire areas.

Some of their photos are listed below, if you have seen any of them or know anything about their whereabouts, please contact the L.A. County Sheriff's Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. As we receive more names and photos of those missing we will add them here.

A 71-year-old woman who the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reports is believed to have been displaced by the Eaton Fire from her Altadena home was reported missing Friday.

Lora Swayne last had contact with her family on Jan. 7 -- the day the Eaton Fire broke out --  at 3:42 a.m., on the 500 block of East Las Flores Drive between East Poppyfields Drive and Punahou Street, according to the Sheriff's Information Bureau.

Swayne is Black, 5 feet tall, weighs 131 pounds, has gray hair, brown eyes and wears glasses.

A 75-year-old Altadena man the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reports is believed to have been displaced by the Eaton Fire was reported missing Thursday.

Oswald Gerhard Altmetz was last seen on Jan. 7 -- the day the Eaton Fire broke out -- at 8 a.m. on the 30 block of Pine Street, between East Palm Street and East Altadena Drive, according to the Sheriff's Information Bureau.

Altmetz is white, 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighs 175 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

A 56-year-old bedridden woman the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reports is believed to have been displaced by the Eaton Fire from her Altadena home was reported missing Friday.

Carolyn Ann Burns was last seen on Jan. 6 and has had no recent contact with friends or relatives, according to the Sheriff's Information Bureau. Her last known location was the 800 block of East Sacramento Street, between Morada Place and New York Drive.

Burns is Black, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighs 315 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

A 93-year-old Altadena woman the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reported Friday is believed to have been displaced by the Eaton Fire and has been diagnosed with dementia has been reported missing.

Friedli Miva Wheatley was last in contact with family near the 80 block of West Mariposa Street, between Fair Oaks and Glenrose avenues, the Sheriff's Information Bureau said.

Wheatley is Black, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

A 54-year-old woman who lives in a fire zone and who the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reports is believed to have been displaced by the Eaton Fire from her Altadena home was reported missing Friday.

Stacey Darden last had contact with family members  on Jan.  8 and she was last seen on the 2000 block of North Marengo Avenue between East Sacramento and Alameda streets, according to the Sheriff's Information Bureau. .

Darden is Black, 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs150 ponds and has black hair and brown eyes.

A 73-year-old man who the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reports lives in a fire zone and is believed to have been displaced by the Palisades Fire was reported missing Friday.

Eric Wilson Wall last had contact with friends and family on Jan. 7 at 11:30 p.m., the Sheriff's Information Bureau said. He was last seen on the 2000 block of Rambla Pacifico Street.

Wall is white, 6 feet tall, weighs 160 pounds, has shoulder-length gray hair and hazel eyes.

A 77-year-old woman who has a defibrillator implant and a disfigured leg and who the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said has been displaced by the Eaton Fire from her Altadena home was reported missing Friday.

Patricia Diann McKenna was last seen on Jan. 7 at 3 p.m. on the 500 block of Punahou Street, between East Flores Drive and Athens Street, the Sheriff's Information Bureau said.

McKenna is white, 6 feet tall, weighs 300 pounds, has gray hair and blue eyes.

A 77-year-old woman who the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reports is believed to have been displaced by the Eaton Fire from her Altadena home was reported missing Friday.

Kimberly Dale Winiecki  was last contacted on Jan. 7 -- the day the Eaton Fire broke out -- at 6 p.m. She lives on the 100 block of East Las Flores Drive between East Palm Street and East Las Flores Drive, the Sheriff's Information Bureau said.

Winiecki is white, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds, has gray hair and blue eyes.

A 77-year-old woman who the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reports is believed to have been displaced by the Eaton Fire from her Altadena home was reported missing Friday.

Delores Ann Jenkins last  contacted her family on Jan. 8  at 5:30 a.m. She was last seen on the 800 block of East Mendocino Street and El Molino Avenue, according to the Sheriff's Information Bureau.

Jenkins is Black, 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs 115 pounds, has short gray hair and brown eyes.

A 81-year-old man who lives in a fire zone and who the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said has been displaced by the Eaton Fire from her Altadena home was reported missing Friday.

Charles Ross last had contact with his family on Jan. 1 at 12:05 a.m. His was last seen on the 200 block of Las Flores Drive, between West Poppyfield Drive and Laurel Drive, the Sheriff's Information Bureau said.

Ross is Black, 6 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs 205 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes.

An 82-year-old woman who lives in a fire zone and who the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reports is believed to have been displaced by the Palisades Fire from her Malibu home was reported missing Friday.

Diana Elizabeth Webb last had contact with her family on Jan. 9  at 8:30 p.m. and she was last seen on the 20000 block of Pacific Coast Highway, west of Big Rock Drive, the Sheriff's Information Bureau said.

Webb is white, 5 feet, 6 inches  tall, weighs 135 pounds, has gray and white hair and brown eyes..

ALTADENA (CNS) - An 82-year-old woman who lives in Altadena and may have been displaced because of the Eaton Fire was reported missing Thursday.

Johnnie Mildred Downs has had no recent contact with friends or relatives, according to the Sheriff's Information Bureau. Her last known location was the 200 block of East Pentagon Street, between East Palm Street and East Altadena Drive.

Downs is Black, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
