LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Actor-writer-comedians Rachel Sennott and Bowen Yang will announce the 97th Oscar nominations in a live presentation Thursday morning, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced Tuesday.

The nominations ceremony, originally set for Jan. 17, was first postponed to Jan. 19 due to the Los Angeles County wildfires and later rescheduled again to Thursday. The nomination voting period was extended to Jan. 17, while the Oscar nominees luncheon, originally planned for Feb. 10, was canceled.

Sennott, known for starring roles in the films "Shiva Baby," "Bodies Bodies Bodies" and "Bottoms," and Yang, a "Saturday Night Live" cast member who also acted in last year's smash hit "Wicked," will announce nominations in all 23 Oscar categories from the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater.

The announcement will begin at 5:30 a.m. and be streamed globally on Oscar.com, Oscars.org and the Academy's digital platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Disney+ and Hulu.

Final voting for the Oscars will take place from Feb. 11-18, with Conan O'Brien set to host the awards ceremony on March 2 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
