14-Year-Old Among Injured in Long Beach Shooting

A shooting at Shoreline Village in Long Beach on Sunday night (May 25) left three people injured, including a 14-year-old boy. The Long Beach Police Department reported that the incident occurred around 10:50 p.m. at the intersection of Shoreline and Shoreline Village drives.

According to police, the teenage boy and an adult man both suffered injuries to their lower extremities and transported themselves to the hospital. A woman, who sustained a gunshot wound to her upper body, was taken to the hospital by paramedics. Fortunately, all injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

The shooting happened near the public docks, a popular area for both residents and visitors. At this time, authorities have not determined any connection between the victims. The Long Beach Police Department is actively investigating the incident and looking into whether it may be gang-related.

Detectives are working to uncover the circumstances surrounding the shooting, including potential motives and information about any suspects.
