The screams will be louder than ever this fall as Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood expands its already stacked 2025 lineup with even more bone-chilling attractions. Kicking off Thursday, September 4, and running select nights through November 2, this year’s event promises to be one of the most terrifying yet.
Newly announced additions include a haunted house inspired by the supernatural horror classic Poltergeist, a revamped Terror Tram: Enter the Blumhouse experience, and the fiery return of The Purge: Dangerous Waters stunt show at the WaterWorld venue.

The Poltergeist haunted house will plunge guests into the ghostly chaos of the iconic Freeling family home, where demonic spirits and eerie visuals await. Meanwhile, the Terror Tram invites brave souls to walk the historic Universal backlot, encountering terrifying characters from Blumhouse favorites like The Black Phone, The Exorcist: Believer, M3GAN, Freaky, Happy Death Day, and The Purge.
Adding to the chaos, four sinister scare zones will terrorize guests throughout the park: “Chainsaw Clownz,” “Carnival of Carnage,” “Noche de Brujas,” and the returning fan-favorite “Murder of Crowz.”
These new horrors join a previously announced slate of haunted houses based on Fallout, Five Nights at Freddy’s, Terrifier, WWE’s The Wyatt Sicks, Jason Universe, Scarecrow: Music by Slash, and Monstruos 3: The Ghosts of Latin America.
Attendees can also enjoy access to several open attractions, including SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™, Jurassic World—The Ride, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™, and more.
