Moviegoers have a full plate this week, with a hilarious sequel, a chilling thriller, and a heartfelt drama all hitting screens. On KFI’s Gary and Shannon, entertainment reporter Heather Brooker gives us the weekly entertainment report. She spotlighted Freakier Friday, the body-swap comedy follow-up to the 2003 classic starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan; Weapons, a genre-bending thriller from Barbarian director Zach Cregger; and My Mother’s Wedding, the tender and witty directorial debut of Kristin Scott Thomas.
The segment also dropped a tantalizing hint about Heather's possible guest appearance in the upcoming TV adaptation of The Hunting Wives, a suspense-filled tale of friendship, betrayal, and murder.
