Moviegoers have plenty of options to choose from this Labor Day weekend, with three major films debuting in theaters.

The Roses is a biting family drama that’s already generating early Oscar buzz. It stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Coleman in a remake of The War of the Roses. Critics say the film’s rich performances and emotional storyline could make it one of the standout releases of the fall.

For those craving action, Caught Stealing delivers a tense, gritty ride filled with high-stakes suspense and big-screen thrills. The film stars a buffed-up Austin Butler and Zoe Kravitz and is expected to draw strong interest from fans of crime dramas and fast-paced storytelling.

Rounding out the weekend slate is The Toxic Avenger, a quirky and campy reboot of the cult classic, this time starring Emmy-winner Peter Dinklage. The film blends outrageous action with offbeat humor, making it a standout for fans of alternative cinema.
