California assembly passed a bill that would allow Amsterdam-Style cannabis cafes. The bill would authorize local jurisdictions to allow licensed cannabis retailers to prepare and sell non-cannabis food and nonalcoholic beverages. The cafes are also allowed to host live music and other performances. This bill could provide a massive financial boost to legal pot companies.

One of the most powerful law enforcement groups in the state is now in support of cannabis legalization. The Peace Officers Research Association of California announced that it now supports marijuana legalization and legal pot businesses.

It's not all great in the cannabis world. State officials are warning the public against consuming a brand of cannabis containing sodas as they contain what officials described as "prohibited intoxicating ingredients."

California is not tolerating the distribution and sale of unsafe, mislabeled, and illegal products that risk the publics health. There are a few things to iron out, but marijuana is on the rise!
